Novak Djokovic Cheers Virat Kohli’s Ambitions for Australian Open 2024
Superstar Indian batsman Virat Kohli was congratulated for his well-wishes by 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic, who expressed his excitement for the day when the two can play together.

After Djokovic disclosed that they had been texting for a few years, Kohli explained in a video provided by the BCCI how they first spoke.
“I remember I was just browsing through Novak’s Instagram page when I accidentally clicked the message button and decided to say hello.
That’s how we got in touch quite naturally. Then I already had a message from him in my direct message. It had never been opened by me.
I said to myself, “Let me just see if this is a fake account or something.” However, after double checking, it turned out to be authentic. Then, yes, we started conversing.
Every now and again, we continue messaging one another. Kohli remarked, “I congratulated him on all his incredible accomplishments.
He continued by wishing Djokovic the best of luck in the Australian Open in 2024 and expressed confidence that the world would witness his best play during the competition.
