Nandamuri Family Pays Heartfelt Tributes at NTR Ghat: A Remembrance to Legendary Actor NTR
On January 18, the late politician and actor NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama) Rao’s son, actor Balakrishna, and his grandchildren, Jr. NTR and Kalyanram, were seen paying their tributes. Jr. NTR honors
On Thursday, before the sun rose, Jr. NTR and his brother Kalyanram went to NTR Ghat. Despite the early hour, hundreds of fans could be seen in the photos and videos, attempting to get a sight of the actors. After arriving a little later, Balakrishna visited his father’s tomb and spoke with people who were there. On the anniversaries of his birth and death, NTR’s family pays their tributes at the ghat annually.
About NTR
In addition to appearing in hundreds of movies, NTR led Andhra Pradesh as its chief minister for seven years, spanning three terms. Throughout his career, he won three National Awards for co-production and directing. He made his feature film debut in 1949 with Mana Desam. His portrayals as the Gods Krishna, Shiva, and Rama in the 1950s brought him great popularity, making him a “messiah of the masses.” NTR continued to innovate and play roles with gray shades in spite of this, and his performances were warmly acclaimed as well.

Future Projects
Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt costarred with Jr. NTR in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which was his last film appearance. He is currently filming Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, which would be Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu film debut. He will also make his Hindi film debut in War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, albeit an official announcement has not yet been made. Kalyanram is currently filming for an untitled project. He was recently featured in Abhishek Nama’s Devil: The British Secret Agent. He will also play the lead in Bimbisara’s follow-up. Balakrishna and director Bobby are filming NBK 109.
