TCS NQT is only available to 2024 graduating students who hold the following degrees: AICTE/UGC-recognized institutions and colleges offer the following degrees: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech. ), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. ), Master of Technology (M.Tech. ), Master of Engineering (M.E. ), Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A. ), Master of Science (M.Sc. / M.S. ), in any specialization.

Application Process

Step 1: Go here to log in to the TCS NextStep Portal. opens in a separate tab

Step 2: Apply and Register for the Drive

Scenario A: Please log in using your TCS Reference ID (CT / DT reference number) if you are a registered user under the TCS NextStep Portal, ‘IT’ category, and then proceed to fill out the application. After submitting, please select “Apply For Drive.”
Situation B. Please select “IT” as your category, click “Register Now,” and fill out the form if you are a new user. Click ‘Apply For Drive’ after submitting your application.
Step 3. Click Apply after selecting your preferred test center and test mode (in-centre).

Step 4: Click “Track Your Application” to verify your status. The status should reflect “Applied for Drive.”.

Important Note

Kindly be aware that this is an in-center test, and space will be assigned based on first come, first served.
To be submitted at the time of the interview (should you be shortlisted for the test), you must have all of your original academic records up to date.
You will receive information about the test from TCS iON, our test partner.

When making an employment offer, TCS does not require applicants to deposit any money.
No outside organization or agency is affiliated with TCS to conduct interviews or extend employment offers on the company’s behalf.
Please be aware that we have a rigorous eligibility requirement as well as a thorough selection procedure. Your eligibility, as per the defined criteria, will be checked at various stages of the selection process. At any point in time, if you are found ineligible or the data shared is found to be discrepant, your candidature will be disqualified.

Test Eligibility

Percentage: Minimum 60% or 6 CGPA across all academic years, including the highest qualification, up to the most recent semester for which results were announced at the time of test-taking. If the candidate is chosen, the offer will only be deemed valid if the degree or provisional degree certificate unambiguously indicates that the individual has completed the course with a “First Class” engineering grade at the time of joining.
Highest Qualification: Only applicants from the 2024 batch who hold the following degrees are eligible for TCS NQT. AICTE/UGC-recognized institutions and colleges offer the following degrees: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech. ), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. ), Master of Technology (M.Tech. ), Master of Engineering (M.E. ), Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A. ), Master of Science (M.Sc. / M.S. ), in any specialization.
Backlogs, arrears, and ATKT: At the time of their appearance for the TCS selection process, candidates should not have any pending or current backlogs, arrears, or ATKT. If chosen, there won’t be any unpaid backlogs, arrears, or ATKT when you join TCS. All outstanding balances, arrears, and ATKT must be settled within the time frame that the university has set.
Extension of Education: This would not be permitted. The candidates must have finished the course within the allotted time.
Break/Gap in Education: If there are any educational gaps, these must be disclosed. A student’s total academic delay from the highest qualification should not be more than 24 months. Any pertinent documentation that is applicable will be examined for any educational gaps.
Open Schooling: If the graduation and post-graduate courses are taken full-time, candidates who have finished their secondary and/or senior secondary coursework at NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply.
Job Experience: Applicants may apply for this hiring process if they have up to two years of previous job experience (applying exclusively to postgraduate students).
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 28 in order to be considered for this recruiting opportunity.

Features

The Foundation and Advanced parts make up the two sections of the integrated TCS NQT exam.
Everyone is urged to try both sections, but if you want to be in Digital or Prime, you must complete the “Advanced section.”
Candidates will be shortlisted for Prime, Digital, or Ninja interviews based on their exam results.
The TCS iON Centers will host TCS NQT.
